Coastal Homes & Estates, brokered by eXp Realty, is an approved DOD SkillBridge provider. You spend your last months of service interning with us — full time, still on active duty, still drawing your pay and benefits — learning the business and studying for your license.

Tim Steers did exactly this. He served in Marine Corps aviation at Kaneohe Bay, began his internship with us in October 2021 while still on active duty, and was licensed in March 2022 — the month he separated.

2. We build your SkillBridge packet with your command.

3. You intern while on active duty and test for your license before you separate.

Separate without a plan and the first year is the hardest one. Separate with a license and a pipeline and it isn't.

DOD SkillBridge lets service members spend up to 180 days of permissive duty training full time with approved industry partners, once their chain of command provides written authorization.
